I had planned on just replacing plants as needed, those little 6-pack things are cheap, and sometimes I can find good deals on the larger ones in baskets. I don't mind re-planting, I enjoy sitting out there doing it while they wander around and stick their beaks into what I'm doing. Just some pleasant Quality Time with them.....
