The new dog got ahold of my Sizzle Cochin roo the other day so he has been stuck in the brooder with the babies since. Thankfully i think she just grabbed feathers so he is already back out with his girls(and we're working on the chicken chasing). He was such a GOOD daddy for the little Muscovy babies while he was in there, it was just too cute

I do think they may miss him tonight though...

That is so sweet! What a good boy! LOL, I have a Frizzle Cochin roo in with my Australorp hens and he is such a good little man. When the scraps are throw out he cackles and calls them all in, but lets the ladies eat first. He was a complete gentleman while they were young to. I just love that pic with the duckling on his back!
