We are finally beating the consumption vs. production hump. Behold my first dozen duck eggs, and this monster that does not fit in a carton. Courtesy of a golden 300 layer. We had 4 yesterday, and 3 today. I think my new layers may be one of the harlies, a golden, and either two campbells, or a campbell and a white layer. Most of the eggs yesterday were laid in the same nest box, and those are the girls who "checked" the nest at dinner time and made sweet little duck noises. /giddy.
