The ones in your pictures are males.Hello, the babies are growing up quickly. What breed are they?
I love their colors! It’s getting harder to tell them apart at first glance. The one that was sick is now the biggest one! I’m not sure if they’re game birds, but they did grow very quicklyWow, the coloring is amazing! Could it be a game bird do you think? Both since they grew so fast and so big and two, I've seen some game birds that looked pretty similar.
I bet @MysteryChicken will have a good idea!
We think they’re both males. Please see attached photos, I hope these help! I realized I need better body pics of themThe ones in your pictures are males.
How old are they?
And if you can provide some whole body pictures showing their entire legs and feet also, we might be able to take an educated guess on the breed.
I’m not sure about age, maybe 12 - 14 weeks? they were little chicks mid September. The ones in your pictures are males.

Well, in this case they might be Red Rangers.I’m not sure about age, maybe 12 - 14 weeks? they were little chicks mid September.
My dad found them abandoned in a field and one was sick. I think it was dry fowl pox.Well, in this case they might be Red Rangers.
Where did you get them?
Oh dear, people can be so cruel. My dad found them abandoned in a field and one was sick. I think it was dry fowl pox.
Yes, I couldn't believe it! Two tiny chicks left to fend for themselves. I'm glad he brought them home. They're now at a rescue in quarantine awaiting integration with the flock <3. I was just reading about Red Rangers! So, does this mean they're hens? Either way, it's a small rescue with limited resources, so I'm planning on getting two separate runs and coops for them since they FIGHT and cannot be together. They've been fighting for about 4 weeks and it's pretty vicious. One submits and the other does not stop.Oh dear, people can be so cruel.
They are lucky your dad took them in.
