They were only due yesterday, but there's still no rocking or cheeping... I would definitely not throw them out till day four or so, and after making sure, but I was wondering... humidity wise, I still shouldn't open the incubator, right (even if I do rewet the wash cloth)? At least not till tonight? And if yes to tonight, would it be so dangerous to candle them?

I'm doing my best Hatching Dance but I'm still so anxious

I often have eggs under mommas and I don't know the exact hatch date so I candle them and check them after a bit to make sure she has no duds. I've candled when hatching (not knowing) with no issues.

Leave them!! I'm on my second hatch of silkie eggs in as many weeks. Last week one started pipping in the am of the 22nd day. It hatched in about 8 hours and the 2nd one pipped late that evening and hatched within a couple of hours. I'm on day 22 again TODAY and woke up to a pip this morning. So, either my temps were a little too low or my math skills need help!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck!!

A couple of my hatches have been day 22 and 23. And I know it was my temps.
My last hatch had 2 pip day 20. Only 1 hatched that day, the other 3 followed the next.
Guess they come when they are ready.
