My guinea pullets have been making nests for about a week now! They are almost 15 weeks old, so eggs soon!

This morning my girl Helen found a nice spot in the cow barn and snuggled down in it, and then literally popped off -- a great big explosion and she flew out. It was quite funny. Then she found that the cow's hay feeder was comfy so she got in there, but then the others came in and interrupted her. A few days ago one of my Lavenders was in there as well.

Also, my boy Icarus has been trying to impress the girls. He'll poof up and prance around them, and once in a while he'll grab their neck feathers. He hasn't mounted them yet that I've seen, but it seems he's getting the idea of it. (It's funny to watch him run, because he fluffs up his feathers and hold his wings out just a little bit so he bounces when he runs. :p)

It's so exciting!!
