I'm second guessing myself, Crystal. I think I just have some darker golden red breasted chicks. Oh well. Hopefully one of them will turn out to be a pied, though I think that I'm SOL on that one too.

ETA: 21 chicks. All 29 eggs were opened. Two were rotten eggs and six of them quit in the last day or so.

Still, 21 chicks, I'm excited! One's a white/splash, so I guess I can be thankful for that anyways. Maybe one will turn out to have a white patch in a weird spot or something.

Yup. Mark, from Quaillandaviaries. He tried to add in extra pied eggs into my group, so I'm still hoping for one or two pies.

As for the "tux", it's a regular red breast. It's been so darned long since I've hatched button quails, not to mention the fact that I sucked at IDing them even when I WAS hatching on a regular basis!

Does he usually get a good number of tuxes from his eggs? I may look at him later, but I have no money now and the BF said no more eggs (or he'd eat them for breakfast, lol).
