I am sorry and I know this is an old thread, but the above text is just utter rubbish. I live in a flat have 3 kids, 7yo, 2yo, 1yo. They dont have a garden, the 7yo plays computer games, watches dvds etc etc and he is not overweight and sickly??? He is in fact spot on his weight chart, I know before you say it, "it wasnt directed at your kids" but please get your facts right!!
I also have chickens, down my allotment. Mine a thin and healthy, I went to the farm where I brought them from and its natural some are just breed for P.O.L and dont gain weight.
