I have an 18 month old Buff Orpington, who has been laying shell-less or very thin shelled eggs for a month or so.
I have 12 total 18 month old BO and Gold Laced Wyandottes.
“Shy” is definitely at the bottom of the pecking order, she’s my sweetheart. Overnight it appears that an egg broke coming out, and she was a mess this morning with dried egg and shell all over her butt. She acts fine. Oyster Shell calcium available in two locations.
I cleaned it up the best I could with warm water w/ epsum salts and sprayed some Vetricyn. What can I can do to help her, please?
Does she need more calcium?
is there something additional that I can give her, that’s super high in calcium?
