Thin-shelled, Shell-less Eggs after Dark ...

Eh......don't think that's really possible, too fine any sharp edges.
I've put a lot of DE into grain mite infested feed and not seen any bloody poops.
Have there been any quantifiable studies, that you can link, to prove your theory?
I don't have them, no, last year someone (i think it was one of the more popular posters like ayzgous, folly or 21 hens but I don't know now and I don't trust my memory ) posted a link to some vet school that had a small study on "blog remedies" for chickens, like adding DE and cider vinegar and herbs. most didn't work and excessive amounts of de in the feed caused minor bleeding.

I was wondering about this, too. I feed back crushed egg shells to my girls, and their run is on sand, which they ingest. DE is the pulverized shells of fossilized microscopic organisms, right? How much different could this be from eating oyster shells or other minerals? And even if it doesn’t help with worms, I’ve read there are dietary benefits to eating it (those minerals the DE is made up of). ALSO people say it’s fine for external pest control, so I’m sure those chickens are eating some of it. I can see it being hazardous for the lungs, though. I dunno. This is one of those controversial things in the chicken world 😉.
*Note: the DE I currently have is food grade

What is your opinion on Safeguard for worming? I’ve been told the liquid goat variety can be added to water and that there is no risk for overdosing.
The attached was sent to me by a vet that sells Safe-Guard. The bottom in yellow is my recipe to make what I need from his instructions.
