I have a flock of 4. One hen started having laying issues back in March. She had a membrane sticking out of her vent that I helped her remove. Then thin shelled eggs for a while, then these oddly shaped eggs. Then a couple other hens started having thin and no shell/rubber eggs in April and it’s still happening to this day (no pictures of these but I can add them if that’s helpful). The first hen was slightly lethargic the day after I removed the membrane so I isolated her and she perked right back up.
I have done a couple courses (week long) of calcium citrate + D3. They eat Kalmbach layer feed and have oyster shell free choice. They free range. I’ve been supporting with electrolytes, vitamins, and probiotics. I’ve dewormed them. No other symptoms besides a bit of weight loss, but they’ve been feeling bigger since I started actively fattening them up.
From my research, could be a number of things like IBV, worms, egg drop, etc. Any ideas what I should try next or do we think their reproductive tracts are permanently damaged?
