Thing 1 and Thing 2

We recently acquired two Silkie pullets, and named them Thing 1 and 2 after the Dr. Seuss characters. We've never had pure bred Silkies before. Seems they really are Thing 1 and 2 to our Barred Cochin roo; he took one look at them when they joined the others today on their first day out, and herded his hens away! So funny!

I can usually put the silkies in with my other smaller bantams with little issues, the other birds, really do not understand what the Silkies are, so they are also kinda afraid of them!
