Mine LOVE breadI feed my chickens bread every day, and saves money on feed because we get it free. It doesn't hurt them.
Cat food is also fine for chickens, but shouldn't be a lot at a time.

Hi! Actually citrus is fine for chickens in moderation. Mine really enjoy oranges!Hello! Here are some things that I don't feed my chickens.
Avocado skin or pit! (toxic)
apple seeds
chocolate and candy
onions and garlic
rhubarb leaves
raw potato
rotten food
ANY CITRUS!!!
coffee grounds
Raw Beans
Hope this helped!
Even then, I had a pullet that went HAM on the tomatoes. Might a cumulative effect have happened later on? Possibly. But she showed no ill effects up until a raccoon nabbed herNightshade. Nightshades can be very toxic to chickens and should not be fed to be on the safe side.
The actual tomato would be fine for a treat, but the leaves are toxic.Even then, I had a pullet that went HAM on the tomatoes. Might a cumulative effect have happened later on? Possibly. But she showed no ill effects up until a raccoon nabbed her
It helps a bit but is no guarantee at all you don’t get mites.Garlic makes chicken skin taste bad so mites leave them alone.
I know. She gobbled leaves. Never got any tomatoes from the plantThe actual tomato would be fine for a treat, but the leaves are toxic.
