Things quail can&can't eat?

They ate tiny shavings off a peanut i used my thumb nail after washing my hands lol

Very cute! I'm going to try sprouting some finch seed for mine. They loved a bit of kale but weren't big fans of courgette.

I was also considering watercress or chia grown on a terracotta type thing, then after a few days they can have fun pulling it off. I can't find much info about if these are safe though, does anyone else feed their quail cress or chia sprouts?

I have fed them chia seeds, I assume the sprouts would be fine.

My quail love chia seeds! I soak them in water first though.
