I made snow candles as a kid. You make a mold out of packed snow, put in a wick usually tied to a stick or something, and pour in hot wax. You can shape the candles any way you want and you get interesting effects from the snow melting as you pour in the wax.

Woodmort, I'm a weenie. Snow is pretty to drive past (notice I didn't say "through") and look at on the HD TV screen in lovely snowscapes. I'm one of those "sit inside and drink hot adult beverages" kinda gals. In front of a fireplace.
