We have one chick that needed help to hatch on Sunday. It is not doing well.

I have had to clean its pasty but twice now. It also has a bit of its cord/yolk(redthingy on stomach) attached.

It just roosts up in the corner of the brooder near the lamp and does not seam to move much. I haven't seen it eat lately, but I am away all day.

Poor lil guy.

It is never easy to loose one, but sometimes nature has to take its course. You tried your best and gave the best care possible. Beyond that, these things are out of our hands.
