Think my hen has gapeworms, but also has roundworms....Safeguard question

Hi,
I add cider vinegar to the drinking water of my hens. I have never had a problem with worms. Have a read of this website or just google cider vinegar chickens and this page comes out first.

Anyone else tried this? My dog had mastitis and was told to give it a try one her and it seems to help.

I found my 15 week old pullet gasping and stretching her neck up to breathe, she is making a rattling noise that sounds like its coming from her throat not her lungs. I looked down her throat but cant see anything. I am going to treat for gapeworm because I just dont know what else to do. I am in the city and there are no TSC, so I got some dog dewormer at petco. fenbendazole 22% pellets. I read people saying they gave a pea sized amount of the 10% safeguard equine paste. So gave about half that volume and squirted it down her throat mixed with water. Now what, repeat in 10 days or do I give it for a few days in a row?
After reading this thread I think I will also get some Tylan. She is my favorite pullet and I hate to see her in such agony trying to breathe. It came on so suddenly!

I read an abstract recently that said to use Fenbendazole at 20mg/kg for three days to treat gape worms. FYI, 1cc (ml) of the horse paste or the goat/cattle liquid has 100mg in it, so you would give 0.20ml for every 2.2 pounds of body weight.

Well my gal seems a tiny bit better today. Yesterday she could barely breathe. Today I saw her preening a little bit. When I threw some scratch outside her cage she came out to get it. She is still gasping and stretching her neck and about every 5 breaths she has to kind of croak/crow like she is trying to clear her throat.

I treated her Monday and Tuesday with Fenbazole and will repeat one more time today. I also started Duramycin 10 yesterday (a dropper by mouth and in the water) and will continue that for 10 days. I still dont know what is wrong with her but I want to cover all the bases. Her poop is scant and watery. She gets excited for food but then seems to have difficulty swallowing and can only eat a bit or two.

hmm, what could that be? Do you think the Duramycin will help? She definitely is a bit improved today and is even out pecking at some grass.

Well she died this morning. I looked in her mouth and she had yellow cancers all over her tongue and mouth. I think it must have been Wet Fowl Pox. Poor girl. Now, what can I do to protect the rest of my flock? I know its a virus so no abx. . . . no one looks sick yet. Should I vaccinate them all?
