I think she's okay! I really, really appreciate all the great advice!! We tried greasing her vent one more time before bed last night and I don't think any of us slept much. She was so lethargic and couldn't even lie down. This morning her comb is bright red and standing up! She is walking just fine (not bow-legged any more) and she had some breakfast. Right now she is nibbling on her favorite treat, a banana. I am SO relieved. I don't think my daughter could have handled losing our little hen. I don't know yet if she passed an egg or was just constipated. There is a great big pile of poo on the back step, but I haven't been outside to check for an egg b/c it has been pouring down rain since 5am. I am so happy! Thank you!!
