Think she is egg bound help !

I assume she is egg bound she has not acted off however I have noticed brushed blue egg shells few days ago. I thought it was because I have a broody hen in the box and just thought she must have crushed a egg.
I noticed doing my rounds something looking like a wound from Chloe. She was still eating and drinking and was not happy when I grabbed her to check her. I put her in a warm bath which she seemed to enjoy. Took some olive oil and massaged the hard ball about the size of maybe one of those chewing gum balls kids buy out of the machine. It appears hard impacted yoke ? Very compact like hardboiled egg. She still has a budge sticking out. It appears she has two holes. See photo. She is even out of all my birds my baby. I hatched her two years or so ago from someone here and shes just special to me. If I can do anything to save her I will.

yup shes egg bound i got the egg out but she had what looks like insides coming out and shes dying in my arms.

It almost looks like she has an abcess?

She died in my arms. I wanted to see why she died, I did get one egg out but it looks like the egg tried to go the wrong direction, pushed her inners out. So once I got the egg out after two hot baths she seems like " ahhh " but then passed away. I looked inside to see four more built up. She never acted sick, I make my rounds three or more times a day. I was just two days ago out dusting and checking legs for mites. She was fine. To bad I cant incubate the egg I am sure it wont hatch because she was in two baths and I had olive oil on my hand. I have her daughter, Sara . but just not the same. I have many chickens but she was always mommies girl.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've also experienced an egg bound hen (same hen twice).
