Think the brooder was too warm. Chicks not feathering like the last ones.

I still think Freebie could be a hen. Here is a picture of my golden 300 hen when she was a baby.

 

I hope so to for your sake. Although, because the spot on his head and tail is black and not brown, Freebie is most likely a male. But we can keep our fingers crossed.
