AND... you need to bury the chicken wire about 6 inches to prevent or deter the diggers (Raccoons, etc)? RIGHT?

Will placing pavers or large rocks around the perimeter of the run help to deter any prospective predators as well?

Saddina! This sounds like it would be something that we can do - use the existing fence as 2 sides.... do you have pictures by chance? How long has your structure been up?? 2x2's would be a dream because they are so much cheaper...
