Hello everyone - So I was sitting around the house today listening to the rooster down the street cockel and crow and thought, perhaps I should get into chickens.
I think what I would like would be 3-4 chickens that lay eggs, so 3 hens and one cock?

- Im on well over a acre, so I have the room but also need to worrie about neighborhood cats. Any pointers on links or sites for getting started tips would be great, and if there is anyone from the Spring Hill, Weeki Wachee florida area let me know - as im going to need to find places to by feed and supplies.
