If your DH is anything like my DH, 1 or 2 turkeys this year will lead to 20 or 30 next year. Did I mention that I love my turkeys?

I have to return to the lady that has the turkeys to purchase 4 more poults.

They are 3 weeks old, some of the adults are full grown, I will get some good photos to post.

After my wife got her surprise

she decided that we would raise these two to lay and hatch the eggs.

So it is back to get poults for meat birds.

My BBB's were a treat to raise. Get two at a minimum. Very tame, got along with all of my birds. It was a sad day when I culled them, but they were excellent for our dinner.

My Tico friend

informed me that my tureys are called "chompipes"

in Costa Rican Spanish so I stand corrected.

Now off to purchase more chompipes, photos to follow.

Well, I must say, the poults here are very reasonable in cost, the 3 week old poults cost me about $5.00 each.

Seems fair to me, yes I took pictures and here they are.

All comments are looked forward too. Tomorrow I will post photos of the poults we have, cute little buggers!
