Thinking about buying Orpington chickens.

I want chickens that will go broody, and lays a respectable amount of eggs while she isn't broody. In a perfect world, ill start eating the extras later on.
What do you guys think about the Buff Orphingtons? Is this a good breed for my purposes.
 
That is a very good breed along with Black Australorps they go broody and lay lots of eggs I have one that has chicks now, silkies also go broody a lot but I don't know how many eggs they lay

My Orpingtons lay reliably and definitely get broody. I recommend them.
Thanks y'all. They are fairly large chickens also right? Good for eating if I choose?
