Thinking about Chickens in the Los Angeles/Valley Area

Hello,

My boyfriend and I are thinking about getting chickens.

We're doing our research to really understand what is needed from the coop to the run to the care, basically everything. It is something we really want but we want to make sure we do it right.

So any advise on having chickens in the Los Angeles/Valley area would be greatly appreciated.
