Thinking about process for the 1st time very soon........

Our chickens are 20 weeks, we have 30 pullets and 4 roosters... thinking we need to get rid of 2 roosters so its processing time, thinking this weekend..... ANY advice for a 1st timer, cause I have no clue and I'm kind of scared

I watched my neighbor process 2 of his birds earlier in the year and thought to myself, not too bad, I can do that. Advice on cooking em too please.

Do it inside your garage if you can- the flies will drive you nuts and gross you out when they land on your birds. Age the meat as long as you can before freezing or eating.

Also I think its going to be hard to decide which 2 we are going to do... Ds10 did get flogged by one last night, other than that they have all been fine except out mean lil bantam!
