I have 60+ Bobwhites that I am thinking about trading for whatever, maybe some jumbo coturnix. The bob's take longer to mature. I wanted to breed and sell them, but now I'm thinking I don't want to mess with the permit requirements. I love the meat, but my 1 year olds, there are 18, have become like pets. I don't think I could kill them

. I don't have a problem dispatching my chickens. But these guys talk to me, and come right up to me just to say hi. I know, weird bob's. I have 44 12 week olds, they aren't quite as sweet as the others, I could probably eat them. I think I would like to trade them for some jumbo coturnix though. Any thoughts?

When I checked into the quail permits here in MS...... Coturnix and Bob whites are are listed. So, I have to get one reguardless.......
But it is only $25 here.

I trying to decide myself if Bobs are worth it too!

****The waiting for them to mature, that is
