I'm thinking of going to the military specifically WEST POINT... any suggestions and advice from actual military personnel or veterans. I want to go to combat after west point

Sounds good to me if you are that way inclined. Never hurts to get trained - combat? not so sure... where you guys are posted at mo is not a good place as in extremely hot, especially in combat gear and also very dangerous. I know some South Africans who are out there doing BG'ing - get paid in dollars and make lots but they have seen some stuff that no one should see.
