Thinking of a new project: Turken x Polish. Pics added!!!!

I showed the picture to my madre and she was like 'Why didnt we do that when we had naked necks and polish' and now she is talking about making them in bantam in white since we have easy access to white polish bantams and might get some white NN's.

Now I'm on the look out for more polish females because I only technically have one. Lol.

Mahonri, why should I focus on blues? Is it because Blue colored chickens are awesome?

I can't wait 'till these ladies start layin!

Is it better to have my poish male with the Turken hens?
Or should I have more polish hens with my Turken rooster?
lol, Or should I just have them all in there and I'll get all types of mixes?

Does not matter much how you start it. Naked neck and crest aren't sex linked.

Monkey- white NN? Bantams right? If you know someone with white standards, please let me know. Riocotesi, where did you get your white girl?

I got my white Turken from a man that orders (by the hundreds) all different types of chicken breeds. He had ordered Turkens (under my request) and I picked out the colores I liked. he only had one white one that I could find.
I'm thinking about going and buying a couple more black pullets so I can get some more blues

Hi! The only pairing I see is the splash Polish and black NN (I'm not much help because I'm not a fan of brown, buff, red, etc birds).

That reminds me I have a couple of F1 black Polish x Silkie cross hens I can move in the pen with my splash frizzled NN green-egger roo. Those should make interesting blue birds.

Kev, yes they are the bantams. I dont think I have ever seen any white largefowl NN's, not even crossed ones. I will let you know if I am able to find largefowl.
