Thinking the feed store mixed up the chicks... Posted PICS

Do Golden Laced Wyandottes ever have dark legs? And a beard? I am supposed to have two, but thinking there might have been a mix up with the Easter Eggers. I noticed that as day old chicks there were similar feathers.

Will post a pict tomorrow but have been wondering about this all day.

GLW don't have beards.

Maybe they did mix them up.

I got two GLW ladies and no chin feathers to be had. I think you are right and got EE'rs....

I keep trying to FIND ee'rs in the TSC bins in the spring but no luck so far.

I had wanted to add some easter eggers to my order but was already up to my limit. So not upset. Just wonder who got my GLW. I pulled them out of the bin marked GLW, I also picked up 2 easter eggers that day for my neighbor who had also placed an order for EE's and there were very similar looking day olders in that bin. I kept them in totally separate boxes though and delivered my neighbors right away. So when they came in that day did the feed store mix them I guess?
