Thinking this pullet is not a pullet.

Great pictures! That sure looks like an emerging cockerel saddle to me. A breeder would be able to positively ID him as male by now but if you're having to prove it to a feed store employee, well...

Update... had to take her back today because she relentlessly bullied all my other pullets. It was so bad that when we took her back and they placed her in a pen of much larger hens to “straighten her out” and she immediately started attacking them and had all 15 running. They ended up putting her in a pen by herself. They were Nice enough to replace her but I have no clue what this one is breed wise
