Being new to having backyard chickens no matter how hard I try to look this up I still cannot figure out if this pullet is really a she and not a he. Can anyone help? If you need more or better pics please let me know.

I almost forgot.... supposed to be 11 weeks

I took her to the location I purchased her from because they will take a male back and the lady said it is a girl because of the rounded feathers on the neck. Gal or not a bully indeed. I have them separated now so things do not get nasty.

You have a cockerel too young to be showing his rooster feathers. In a few more weeks, it will be obvious that his saddle is in but that comb speaks volumes already. If you can handle him, the saddle feathers look to be emerging. You'd have to part the back feathers to see them at this point.

When we got her/him last week I inquired about the feathers being plucked and she told me that happens when a pen can get to crowded so I thought nothing of It. I got them from brevard feed and seed here in Florida.

Great pictures! That sure looks like an emerging cockerel saddle to me. A breeder would be able to positively ID him as male by now but if you're having to prove it to a feed store employee, well...
