I'm hoping this is no big deal, but two of my girls don't roost on the perches in the coop at night. They cram into the corner of the floor under the lowest roost bar at night. My other kiddos all roost on the high roost. Will the corner crammers eventually make their way up on their own? It seems so against instinct for them to sleep on the ground.

How much space is in the coop? (Sq Ft)
Photos may be helpful.

Sometimes you may have a couple that are not quite ready to roost, but eventually do.
The coop is a shed-style that's 6x10x8. The low roost is ten feet long and sits about ten inches off the floor. The high roost is ten feet long and sits about four feet above the floor.

There is not harm to them as long as they are safe. You can try placing them on the roost at night or you can just wait on them to get to it. We still 4 month old pullets who like to sit on top of watering buckets at night.

As long as mine are not sleeping in the nests and are sleeping somewhere predator-safe I don't care where they sleep. They are not being harmed and are not harming anyone else.

If it is important enough to you then you can wait until it is dark and set them on a roost, either the lower or higher one. They should get in the habit of sleeping up there in a few days.
