This batch appears to be a dud...questions for the next time

All you can do is hope a couple make it. Put the entire unit in the bator if you can to check humidity. You can do it in a split second so you dont lose humidity, but I bet that's high anyway, especially if you kept adding water, thinking it was low.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put the whole unit in there a little while ago...and was checking on them, 2 eggs rocked back and forth and I heard a peep.

Man this is stressful and exciting. WOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone!

Temp is 98.4 at 49% do I need to raise the humidity or leave it alone.

Give it a little while longer to really get a good reading on humidity, then if it's below 60%, you can add a little water. Glad all is not lost!! I keep mine between 60 and 70% for hatching.

HELPFUL HINT: after the hatch is done, take your AcuRite and remove the batteries to leave it open in order to dry it out before you use it again. They become more inaccurate over time, it seems. I have two of those.

Here is where I am right now....waiting to see if the temp/ humidity rises.
