This boy does not crow

My RIR is 20 weeks and hasn't crowed yet

My RIR roo didn't crow until about 9 months, I used to take my phone out and play you tube videos of roosters crowing, it worked.

just because he looks and has spurs like a rooster doesn't mean he is one even if he acts like one I have a hen who acts just like a rooster she even tries to round me up like a rooster does to the
hen.

I dunno, lol. But in the 30 yrs I've been around chickens I've never encountered a hen with saddle and hackle feathers.

Spurs and bad attitudes, yes. Saddle and hackle feathers no.

Anyway, we've got a nearly 22 wk old roo who only crows when his food bowl is empty. ^_^

And my Aunt's got his hatchmate who still hasn't made a peep.

And then there's another hatchmate of the above two who's been crowing since he was like six weeks old. They will pretty much crow when they're ready I guess.

I have a rooster now who is 18 months old. He only crows quietly for the hour before sunrise. Other than that he hums little songs throughout the day.
