The Wild West!
Howdy y'all, hope all's well!

So my chickens feet froze in the last cold snap we had
So I took him inside and thawed his feet in warm water and everything was good. Walking fine, good balance, eating and drinking well.
Anyway, i come out today and I'm just watching them free range, and i notice the same bird was walking weird...

So I pick him up and this is what i see..
Ask any questions you need.

Also, it seems like the skin is separation from his leg/foot and full of liquid... Thoughts?
Will he lose his feet?

It doesn’t look black like frostbite, but I’m no expert. I also have heard that thawing frozen feet in warm water can cause more damage than not thawing them. Again I’m no expert, and hopefully someone with more experience will respond soon.

Thank you for your input... I really hope I didn't do more harm then good.

I had something kind of like this happen but it was on a chick that had what looked like bumble and we tried to treat it but then all his toes came off on one foot
