Hi,
Four weeks ago I bought a few chicks from a locally owned feed store. I got an Amauricana, a Barred Plymouth Rock, and what I was told is a Silkie. The bigger the Silkie gets, the less it looks like a silkie. It had feathery legs and a tall posture and the disheveled appearance of a silkie, but the wrong feather type. What do y'all think? Could it be some kind of silkie cross? I'm attaching two pictures: one of her at a week old, and now at a little over four weeks old. Thanks for your insight!

Wow, thanks y'all. I looked up some images of 4 week old light Brahmas, and that seems pretty spot on. It must be at least part light Brahma. Looking forward to seeing how big she gets!
