This chicken math is killing me!!!!

I ordered 15 chickens from Ideal that are supposed to be delivered on March 24th. We don't even have the coop built yet and I am already eyeing hatching eggs and incubators!!!!!!

Hehe we originally wanted 5, just enough for eggs for us... now we have 50 and 22 more in the bator!

I've just ordered chick starter, in anticipation that I won't be able to resist this spring... I'm already at my husband imposed limit. But one just became a house chicken, so she doesn't count anymore.....

Which leaves room for more!!!

Chickens are WAY worse than pototo chips.

whats funny is we just decided on the same page today; that we'd get chickens..he went to bed thinking 8, woke up and left for work; I called him on his way to work..
he said I think we should do 20...
ummm...8 to 20 in 4 hrs LOL

Checked my order from Murray Mcmurray and they had added an extra 25 RIR males so i took those off and added 6 bantams... so how is it that you can call and get rid of the extras and end up ordering more than you planned on? There is no end to this chicken math.

25 RIR males
2 silverwing
2 BB Red
2 buff silkies
