This coop?

Yes I agree that's not ideal. I thought the free one sounded better. What's your take on that one?

Tell me what you do have for transportation. Does your mom have a car, SUV, etc.

Is there a family friend with a truck? Do you have a grampa or aunt with tools?
You are in a position to need to figure out all your helpful resources.
My mom has a ford focus, not really ideal for transporting a coop.
My mom's coworker has a truck, but he doesn't drive it much because gas is expensive.
My moms ex boyfriend has tools but we don't really talk much because of their work schedules and stuff, so my mom thinks it would be rude to ask him for a favor.

Well as I said if you have 150 to work with you could pay him for fuel and time to help you. Shop Craigslist every day for new items that could work. Search these terms,
Dog kennel, chicken coop, cage, wire fence. I even saw big bird cages that laid on their side(chickens don't need the height but need the length) could be a nice little run. Attach 2, add a piece of plywood for roof and you have a little coop.

You do need an adult ally here. I'm not sure how old you are but girls can use tools as well as boys! You just need someone who has some to help you.

I think the coop I have them in now is good for them. I just need to expand their run. I just need something bigger for when I get more.

http://www.wish.com/c/57ff58fa92e3d76879ad4be5 I think this would be good just for when they sleep inside on nights when it is raining or it is too cold forthem. It would go in my living room with a few blankets in it for them to sleep in. The other night it was rainingand they slept in my bedroom on a chair (I didn't have many other options) and kept me awake all night. Snowball kept crowing. I woke up with a headache thenext day so bad that I had to miss a day of school. They are never sleeping in my bedroom again.
this is the chair they slept on. It hada blanket on it to keep them comfy and to keep thepoop off.

Just use the cage you have outside in the house once they have a coop. Save your money for the coop.

You can't make a chicken wire and string structure safer. Get a big dog crate and cover it with hardware cloth and plywood you can have cut to fit at Lowe's home depot etc. Set it up on bricks, blocks, or wood chunks to keep it dry. Add a 2x4 for a roost.

That would be safer. Get 3 and you'll have a tiny run but still much larger than a prefab in your price range. They are 40 bucks or less all day on Craigslist and fit in your mom's car. Stake it all down to the ground. Best you'll do I think.
