This is a hen, right?

Hello! This is my sweet barred rock Olive. She is 4 months old as of yesterday and I purchased her marked as a pullet. I’m pretty sure she’s a girl but I was a little thrown off my those tail feathers, they look kind of rooster-like to me. She seems to have a hen comb and does make hen sounds (no crowing) but who knows. If you could help me out it’d be greatly appreciated!

Yep, looks like a future egg layer to me. Barred Rock cockerels are usually really easy to spot at this age.

Nope not a hen, you've got a nice lil pullet there. Sickle feathers are common in pullets. She will molt them out and very likely not grow them back.
