This is a hen, right?

Sure looks like one to me, except for that glorious comb. She's a partridge rock and about 6 mths old. I think she laid an egg last week, but my BO has been known to lay 2 in 1 day every so often, so I'm not 100% certain.

At 6 months old, I would say hen. Some just have larger combs and wattles.

She is positively a female. Her coloring makes it clear, male partridge birds are red/gold on top with a black belly.
