This is supposed to be a pullet, and I thought it was, but, now I'm not sure. It's got the tail, hackle, and saddle feathers of a roo. Almost four months old. This is a nice bird, friendly, and used to get down into the "position" for my hand, and then shake it off. I've never had a rooster do that!

I'm confused!

Well a chicken can change its gender, it can't reproduce though, if there is a lack in rooster, but it has seen a rooster before, it will change they way it looks, it may be a pullet but will look exactly like a rooster, tail feathers, comb and all, so it could be a rooster wanna-be!! whether or not they will still produce eggs when a pullet changes to a rooster, I do Not KNOW!?!?! But now I am curious, for all others out there DO THEY STILL LAY EGGS?
