This is a worm right?

If this is indeed a roundworm and I have to treat, can my 6 year old hens and 13 week old pullets both be treated? Thank you!

Yeah, did you see it come out the butt? Could they have pooped out a undigested earthworm and there just been a earthworm there? I am not saying its NOT a roundworm. But I don't have enough evidence to say either way. Earthworms have segmented bodies, if its smooth and not segmented then I would treat the whole flock.

It looks like a roundworm to me. As far as I know, you can and should treat both your older and younger girls all at the same time. It may depend upon what dewormer you use though.

It looks like a roundworm. Can you worm your chickens with either Valbazen 1/2 orally, and repeat it in 10 days? Or you can use SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer 10% fenbendazole 1/4 ml per pound given orally and repeated in 10 days. If you use the SafeGuard for 5 consecutive days it will also treat capillary and gapeworms. Valbazen will treat all of those with the 2 doses.

I already have this dewormer handy. I'll just have to figure out dosing for the little ones and add it to their food I think. Thank you!

If you get a weight on them, that will help. I think the goat wormer or horse paste is the easiest SafeGuard to figure dosage.
