This is cute - but is it too small?

We built the playhouse coop last year. I cut the wood and my girls put it together over the winter. You build one side at a time and then stand it up and screw it together. If my 9 and 10yr daughters can do it so can you. Here are some time savers when you go get the wood have the store cut it for you. I had all the plywood cut to the size I needed for no charge(at lowes) Then I just cut the window in. I got the plans from Dennis for 35 bucks he has everything you need in his plans

Yeah it looks like we are not going to get around building it ourselves.
I am not worried about being able to do it. We built our dog houses, our goat horses and even our horse barn (including electricity and plumbing) ourselves.
It's just now with two little kids it's much harder to find the time than when we did projects like these before the little ones were here...

I have four girls who live in a rabbit-hutch style coop I built. It's four feet wide, two feed deep and two feet high. It has a slanted roof covered with corrugated plastic (keeps the water out). Looking at the front of the coop, the right side is a 2x2 piece of plywood with a door and the left side is 2x2 of 1/2" hardware cloth. Attached to this coop, which stands above the ground about 6" on cinderblocks is a run I built out of wood. The run, enclosed with hardware cloth is 30 inches tall, 30 inches wide, and 7 feet long. They are very happy with their little home. I close up the coop at night. We live in southern California, so cold weather is not an issue.
