They’re a little over 5 weeks old. I’ve raised so many ducklings and never dealt with angel wing before, now I think I have 3 birds affected. What are the chances?

Yes, definitely angel wing on two of them. I'm not seeing it on a third one unless I'm missing something or the camera angle is not picking it up. Here's a great article on BYC about it and how to treat. They’re a little over 5 weeks old. I’ve raised so many ducklings and never dealt with angel wing before, now I think I have 3 birds affected. Those two dont really look like angel wing. Can you get a photo of them from above? Birds eye view? (no pun intended). These guys unable to hold their wings up and look the same. Thank you for the link!
The two worst ones are wrapped up, I’ll try to get a photo tomorrow when the wraps come off. Those two dont really look like angel wing. Can you get a photo of them from above? Birds eye view? (no pun intended).
Not holding their wings up could be normal, as at this stage their wings are heavy with feathers growing in.
Are larger breeds more prone to having their wings sag at this stage??The two worst ones are wrapped up, I’ll try to get a photo tomorrow when the wraps come off.
So you’re saying that I don’t need to worry unless the wing is actually twisting outward, and sagging is normal sometimes?
There wings do get heavy at this stage so it is pretty normal for them to drop them slightly. Angel wing happens when those feathers grow in and start pointing out instead of lying flat against the body. A couple in the first photo look to have angel wing, but the second two you mentioned look okay to me so far. It would be easier to tell by looking down on them, so that you can ensure the feathers arent sticking out.The two worst ones are wrapped up, I’ll try to get a photo tomorrow when the wraps come off.

Sagging is normal, especially on young birds. Feathers grow quickly and at that stage are filled with blood. They don't have the muscle strength to keep them tight against the body. I usually have several goslings in the spring that do this.sagging is normal sometimes?
