Thanks! I'm new to the chicken world. My wife, two daughters and I went to our local feed store Easter weekend to get rabbits and came home with nine chickens. From what i have read and the pictures i've seen he is a cornish cross. They seem to be lazy birds. My reds and banthams are quite active. The cornish just kinda sit around, unless its feed time.

Read up on cornish Xs. It's not that they are lazy, it's that they grow at an incredible rate. It pays to carefully monitor their feed consumption too. They are considered meat birds, not layers.
I wish a long happy life for Elvis. He's a cutie.
