My SIL just sent me a video of the way we moved this thing 150-200 feet to get it to the trailer. The video is very short, and only shows about 4 feet of the move, but you'll get the idea.

If I raise it only a foot I'll screen it off so they can't get under it.I would either have it 24" off the ground or on the ground. Having a 1' high place for chickens to hide and lay eggs and injured chicken to hide makes very difficult to get to and clean as needed. I will never build a raised coop again...

I moved it this afternoon to its permanent (until the wife changes her mind) spot. I put it up on blocks to help me level it, now I'll have to put hardware cloth around the base to keep those little chicken murderers out.
