This is going to be my coop

My SIL just sent me a video of the way we moved this thing 150-200 feet to get it to the trailer. The video is very short, and only shows about 4 feet of the move, but you'll get the idea.

No, I'm planning on raising the entire roof a foot if it doesn't destroy the cute look. Then I'd make the front door a foot taller as well...I can live with a 5-foot door. The nest boxes will be built out on the back, and I'll go around that area with the run so that I can get eggs without going in the coop or the run. I'm also going to raise the house up at least a foot on stilts. My wife also wants flower boxes for the porch railing.

I moved it this afternoon to its permanent (until the wife changes her mind) spot. I put it up on blocks to help me level it, now I'll have to put hardware cloth around the base to keep those little chicken murderers out.

Keep it on the ground. You still might want to leave the front alone, make a pop door on the bottom part of the front door.... Make a Rear door for you to enter. That way you can keep the front fenced for chickens and be able to go in coop without having to go into the run.

Oh and the "flower box" in the front will be destroyed in a day. Nice idea but in reality they will dig it up
