THIS IS INSANE (small rant)

okay,
now its going on day number 3 for my sick hen in the house.
shes currently in the kids playroom in a cage. i have a blanket covering half of it.
this was the only possible place.... i am now gonna move her to the dining room. cage that is and her
i am just frustrated. i have treated her with antiboitics.. i just dont want to get more attached by having her in the house.
now i am

i put her outside and the other hens started pecking at her... she didnt defend herself, just bent her head down.
i picked her back up and brought her back in the house.
this is just insane.
i know it comes with having pets .... but its so stressful sometimes..
i wish shed get better and go on... or something..

Sorry you're having trouble with your hen. Have you listed her symptoms in case any of the "experts" here might be able to help?

hi,
i have listed her problems, and got some advice. i love my girls (all hens) so much, i dont want to see them being picked on by another. but shes just not right.. i knew something may happen to the girls. i only have 5 so far.
but i wish she had a speedyier recovery. thats all.

I'm with you. Our favorite pullet from our first hatch is in my daughter's room with a neurological issue. "No, she cannot live in your room forever"

Her: "Why not?"

Me: "Because she will not be happy in here"

Her: "Yes she will"

Me: "No....she will not."

Hang in there! She'll get better soon! You're a good person to care so much! Is she happy inside or does being inside make her crazy too? Don't worry nothing lasts forever!

hi keri,
i think shes happy.
shes more alert right now.. i put some water in front of her,, and she gobbled it up.. it had some of the medcine in there. so i am happy shes alert.
to be honest.. i think she might be turning around and getting better.
I do think she likes its inside,,, but i know her place is outside with the others. I just hope she can last.... i talk with her alllll the time.. now i have moved her cage and her in the living room ,,, shes got constant noise, from me and my 2 young toddlers.
