So, I got chickens by having 15 of 'em essentially dumped on me, and they're a motley bunch. I already mentioned getting rid of the "spur hen" who was making everyone's life hell. There's another one, a hen, who's very beautiful, white with a black edge on every feather. She seems to relate to people more than other chickens, and while she doesn't like to be touched, she'll hang out really close to me.
So, yesterday, I did something in the coop I forget what, guess I did an egg check and collected 1-2, and went back into my trailer here. Well, I had the door open here, and I was doing something in here and I heard a chicken chirp behind me - the cute hen was perched on the back of my chair! I said "Oh, hi there!" and she hopped over to my computer desk, and walked around on my laptop a bit, hitting all kinds of keys.
I talked with her a bit, then caught her and put her back into the cage. Very very funny! I hope I can place her with someone who will keep her as a pet.
