We have 8 black sex links that or very smart all get along . They have the best coop it's like a mansion . There nesting boxes have a fan & heat lamp that are on a photo cell that comes on when it's dark , they have a sand box "dust box" a out side run for eating grass "only when the access door is open" 4 nice perch & a out side fan

Sounds like you have a nice flock and coop. I'd take the heat lamp out, though. They have no need for it and they won't be in the nesting boxes at night anyway. Heat lamps are a major fire hazard and many people have lost their entire flocks when they caused a coop or barn fire and the coop burned down with the birds inside.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Black Sex Links are my favorite hens as they are very friendly and hardy, egg laying machines. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from those eight girls.) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your BSLs.

Your silly the heat lamp is for the winter the breaker is turned off in the summer

They don't need it in the winter either :) Any time of year you use it it's a fire hazard. Just don't want you to lose your whole coop and flock because it looks like you really put effort in and enjoy them.

It gets cold here just like in summer they have a fan the heat lamp is know where near any wood not close to the chicks

As long as you feel it's safe. I'm in VT so I bet it gets a lot colder here than it does in GA, and mine do fine with no heat. Just don't want any of this to happen to you:

Those are just a few examples of this happening.

Chickens are much more tolerant of cold than heat. Friends in Alaska have them without any supplemental heat. Though the ones in Arizona have to use fans during their major heat spells. It's a matter of what they get used to.
